I can't recall ever sharing about my friend Margaret Feinberg (www.margaretfeinberg.com) on my blog, but I hope you’ll get her newest book (Wonderstruck) freshly released on Christmas Day!
She’s a fellow Lifeway author and, after meeting several years ago at a conference, we became fast friends. I love her dearly and admire her greatly. If anyone loves Jesus and His people with the same genuineness privately as shown publicly, Margaret does. And, to me, this is brag worthy!
If you haven’t read any of her writings before, get ready. The woman is profoundly gifted. Margaret has a way of making lifeless words on a page arise and dance. Wonderstruck is no exception. I applaud Margaret for steadily pining after God and humbly readjusting to His will and ways. Then spilling her life with God onto the page so we can drink and enjoy.
Below is a small excerpt from Wonderstruck: Awaken to the Presence of God:
“I have a hunch that I’m not the only one who has misplaced the marvel of a life lived with God. Faith invites us into an enchanting journey—one marked by mysteries of divine beauty, holy courage, irrepressible hope, unending love. But in my life, any sense of the splendor of God had faded. I knew I needed God to reveal himself once again to awaken me from my sleep, to disturb me from my slumber. And so I prayed for wonder.”
Can you relate? May we all learn to live wonderstruck together! Cheers!
